A-Level making media - Production Tasks

 1. Start your band website on Wix - set it up and decide which template/functions to have. 

2. Interview with the artist - can you film and edit a mock interview with your created artist/band? 

3. Study typical band/artist shots/poses and aesthetics and try and recreate one of the images.

 If you are filming outside, the light changes dramatically. Big changes in natural lighting can impact continuity. Lighting indicates high or low quality, sets the mood, draws attention to your product and makes it look better and makes your actor look better.  3-Point Fill Lighting create a normal looking scene with soft shadows and average colours. Chiaroscuro lighting is characterised by harsh lighting that creates an extreme contrast between different areas of the shot, such as a characters face. Can be used with colour, but also can be used in black and white for a different feel.   Advertising Standards Authority They respond to concerns and complaints from consumers and businesses and take action to ban ads which are misleading, harmful, offensive or irresponsible. As well as responding to complaints  to check they’re following the rules. They also conduct research  to test public opinion and identify where they need to take action to protect consumers .    A regulator is a body that is not part of the government but will follow government's guidance or laws. There is a regulator for TV and radio (Ofcom), for newspapers and magazines (IPSO). Each have different amounts of power. Sometimes they are there to deal with or investigate complaints from the public. I did this to try and create the impression that they have made the person in question happy because they have seen them.
